Inspired by the surroundÂing buildÂings, especially the gasworks and the neighÂborÂing halls, the idea of a brick-clad base was born. In addition to visual paralÂlelÂism, this is also intenÂded to reflect the original uses of the neighÂborÂhood, which are still relevÂant in Ehrenfeld today. These are compleÂmenÂted by sports and leisure facilÂitÂies such as cafĂ©s, restaurÂants, yoga and fitness studios, gallerÂies, and much more.
In contrast to the indusÂtrial backdrop, the base supports a modern office district that symbolÂizes Ehrenfeldâs transÂformÂaÂtion and illusÂtrates the shift towards sustainÂable commerce. In addition to the modern district, the focus is primarÂily on green roofs and green facades. Roofs and balconies are also intenÂded to provide space for work and leisure. Spacious indoor areas and pathways connectÂing all sides round off the concept and make the project a center for living and working. The aim is to create a place for exchange and creatÂive develÂopÂment.
